Marking, Coding, and Labeling System Assembly Technician
Responsibilities:
— Assemble marking, coding, and labeling systems according to engineering specifications and customer requirements.
— Install and integrate marking, coding, and labeling systems on customer sites, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with safety regulations.
— Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve any technical issues or malfunctions.
— Collaborate with the engineering and sales teams to review customer needs and provide technical support during pre-sales and post-sales stages.
— Perform regular maintenance and preventive tasks on installed systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
— Train customers on the operation and maintenance of marking, coding, and labeling systems.
— Keep accurate records of assembly processes, installation activities, maintenance tasks, and customer interactions.
— Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and product developments related to marking, coding, and labeling systems.
— Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source required components and ensure timely delivery.
— Adhere to company policies, safety guidelines, and quality standards throughout all stages of work.
Requirements:
— High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training in electrical or mechanical systems is a plus.
— Proven experience in assembling, installing, and maintaining marking, coding, and labeling systems or similar automation equipment.
— Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including wiring, cabling, sensors, motors, and pneumatic components.
— Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
— Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair technical issues.
— Familiarity with software applications used for system programming and configuration.
— Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and resources to meet project deadlines.
— Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
— Effective communication skills to interact with customers, colleagues, and suppliers in a professional manner.
— Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks, lift heavy objects, and work in various environments (including customer sites).
